Throwback To My Summer Holiday

In the first week of the summer holiday, I took a family holiday to Cornwall for 6 days and then Devon for 2 days. We stayed in a holiday park called Perran sands and visited all the cute and picturesc places that both Cornwall and Devon have to offer. This part of England is probably my favourite as it's so peaceful and calming. And it's also so far away from everything else so you really do feel like your in your own happy little world. Boscastle was probably my favourite place in Cornwall to visit but unfortunately my camera had ran out by the time we went there at the end of the week. I also didn't take any pictures in Devon which I really regret. I was just to caught up in seeing my family. And yes some of my family live in Devon. Torquay to be exact which is also a beautiful place to visit! I honestly don't think I've ever seen as many surfers or hippy vans as I did during my stay!

So here are some pictures from my holiday. I can't wait until we go back next year!

Recently I've fallen in love with the styles at River Island. It's recently become one of my favourite stores. So this post is all about a cute little crop top from said store.

In Love With My Choker

So this post is pretty self explanatory from the title. I've finally gotten on board with the latest fashion trend, I'm only a little bit late. So the trend is the choker. I've seen chokers in a bunch of different styles with different charms and things but I spent a bit of time looking for a simple plain black one. I got mine from Topshop in the Freedom range for only £5 and let's just say in really impressed.

So this dress is probably my favourite of the moment. I just love it! 

OOTD - Monochrome

Today's OOTD has the title monochrome. This outfit has not only monochrome black and white but also it has a lot of aztec patterns which is a trend that I'm currently loving. I got this outfit for my most recent holiday in Devon and it was a great outfit to wear in the boiling summer sun, but this outfit also looks great with black skinny jeans instead of shorts, making this outfit great for all seasons.

Back To School - Bag Essentials

Most schools in the UK go back at some point in this week. On Friday the 5th I shall be waving goodbye to the summer holidays and saying hello to the dreaded school hallways. So I thought I'd help you out with some of my bag essentials, I've had these things with me since year 7 and they haven't failed me yet!

If I Stay - Review

On Saturday I went with my sister to see 'If I Stay' let's just say I was very excited. I brought this book a couple months ago, and I finished it in less than a week. I just couldn't put it down! When I head that my favourite book was being turned into a film I went crazy, especially since my favourite actor was playing the lead boy, Adam.

The book is written so well, it starts with the day of the crash. The book is written in Mia's point of view which is great because the story often drifts to moments of her past that she's thinking about whilst in the awful situation of the hospital.

My friends mum has recently become a representative of the Avon beauty company. She gave me this months catalogue in which I purchased scented body mist. In this post I shall be reviewing the different body mist, and honestly each one is so good, I definatly recommend purchasing some.

Get the look - Misty Day

This is probably the blog post that I am the most happy about writing. The reason being, it's about my favourite tv programme. If you haven't already guessed, it's American Horror Story. I'm not usually a fan of horror stuff, but after starting with season 1, I haven't been able to stop watching! My favourite season would have to be season 3, I just love the whole story line about the witches coven. So I'm going to help you create the look of one of my favourite cast members, Misty Day.

Hello Everyone,

First post on my blog, honestly I'm kind of nervous I mean will anyone even read these posts? Will they be useful? I really hope so. So what will this blog be about? I'm aiming to post anything about fashion and beauty I'll maybe even throw in some lifestyle posts just for the hell of it, who knows? But the hard thing is the range to cover, don't get me wrong I'm definitely going to try to cover as much style segments as I can but everyone has different opinions, what one might find good another may find bad, so with that said I'll try to post as much as I can about different looks and styles to try to please everyone. If you have any requests on things you'd like to see me cover feel free to leave a comment!

So here's a small bit about myself. My name is Aimee with the French spelling. I'm 14 years old and I live in the UK the north to be precise. You may be thinking, 'she's to young to know anything about fashion' my answer to that is yes, yes I am young but fashion, fashion is my life pretty much. Shopping is one of my favorite activities. For my GCSE courses I've chosen to take Art, History and Sociology. By taking these subjects I feel as though I have improved with my fashion skills (Not so much with Sociology), I love drawing new clothing ideas in my worn to pieces sketch pad, and I absolutely love  fashion history, so much so I feel like I may have been born in the wrong generation. Vintage is my passion. My dream job is to become a fashion journalist, you know like the ones who work with Vogue or ELLE magazines, because since i'm quite shy i prefer to write about fashion rather than model it, almost like a sports commentator.
